DAY ONE: NAIROBI
Met upon arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our safari representative, Nairobi is the capital and the largest city of Kenya, the city was founded by the British in 1899 as a simple rail depot on the railway. Nairobi is a major business hub in East and Central Africa, it’s also regional and national headquarters of various international business and organizations e.g. General Electric, Coca Cola, Cisco, IBM etc. You will be transferred to The Boma Hotel for overnight stay
DAY TWO: NAIROBI CITY TOUR
After breakfast, you will meet at the hotel lobby for safari a short safari debriefing, their after depart for the city tour which includes a visit to David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage where you will learn how they rescue orphaned baby elephants and release them back to the wild, The Giraffe Centre where visitors enjoy feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform and finally a visit to Karen Blixen Museum which was once the centre piece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong hills owned by Danish author Karen and her Swedish husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. The farm house gained international fame with the release of the movie ‘Out of Africa’ an Oscar winning film based on Karen’s an autobiography by the same title. Lunch will be served at the famous Carnivore Restaurant or similar where they serves different varieties of meat, exceptional array of sauces, soup, a selection of desserts and Kenyan coffee, eat till you surrender (Brazilian concept). Afternoon at leisure enjoying the hotel amenities e.g. massage or an optional visit to a beauty training school being sponsored by DK Grand Safaris. Overnight stay at The Boma Hotel (B.L)
DAY THREE: TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast check out and any excess luggage will be stored at the hotel store room until the last day, depart by road to Tsavo West National Park driving along Mombasa highway trespass though the Akamba lands who are mixed farmers and well know for hunting and gathering. They are separated by the Maasai people to the south by the railway line Tsavo West is home to the largest population of red-skinned elephants, many endangered African wildlife including the black rhinoceros, Cosen’s gerbil, Hunter’s hartebeest, several species of shrew rat, Grevy’s zebra and wild dogs including over 500 different bird species have been recorded in the park, Arrive at the Lodge in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon enjoy a game viewing in the park which might include a visit the sheetan lava flows and some caves for geological interest; explore the caves or hike along the lava flow. Dinner and overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Lodge (FB)
DAY FOUR: TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
Spend the full day in Tsavo West National Park; the park contains a diversity of habitats and a mountainous scenic landscape. The views over the savanna plains are spectacular, huge anthills and Mt Kilimanjaro can also be seen. Morning and afternoon game viewing have been scheduled which include a visit to Mzima Springs, where hippos and fish can be seen in crystal clear water that has filtered underground from Chyulu Hills gushing below lava. Keep your eyes open for giraffes which surprisingly are well camouflaged as they nibble the tops of the Acacia trees. Look under the shady trees to find lions sleeping after lunch, and be ready to stop as gazelles or cheetahs stroll across the road in front of you. DAY FIVE: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast check out and depart by road to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its large herd of free-ranging elephants hence you’ll be getting breathtakingly close to elephants in the park. You will drive through conservational area and along the border of Kenya and Tanzania. Amboseli National Park has a mixed topography of plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps and marshes. This diversity, along with a long dry season, ensures excellent viewing of the large concentrations of African animals living in their natural habitat. Arrive at the camp which is strategically located in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in the park set at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro which is at 5,896 meters, the highest freestanding mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. DAY SIX: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast will be served at camp/lodge, thereafter depart for morning game viewing. The park is famous for its tranquil beauty that allows fabulous wildlife viewing, photography and easy approachable wildlife which include big families of elephants, lions, impalas, giraffes, gazelles etc. An optional complimentary visit to Maasai Cultural village that reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a memorable experience. They live in close harmony with the environment and the wild animals. Lunch will be served at the camp/lodge followed by afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at Satao Tented Camp or similar (FB)
DAY SEVEN: MOUNT KENYA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast check out and you will be transferred to Amboseli Airstrip, fly to Nairobi Wilson Airport and proceed by road to Nanyuki. Arrive at the club in time for lunch which is strategically located along the equator line with a magnificent view of majestic Mount Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa. The Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Resort’s offer a unique blend and combination of comfort, relaxation and adventure, originally, it was the retreat for movie star and Club founder, William Holden, and the Club’s illustrious former members have included Winston Churchill and Bing Crosby. DAY EIGHT: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Breakfast will be served at the club thereafter depart by road crossing from southern to northern hemisphere to the famous Samburu Game Reserve. The park has retained its naturally serene and quiet feeling. Besides the numerous wildlife found in this game reserve and over 350 different species of birds have been recorded in the park. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch which is strategically located overlooking the Uaso Nyiro River which cuts through the reserve, drawing a big population of Kenya animals to the park. The river bustles with activity from its huge population of Nile crocodile. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing in the reserve which is famous for its rare species of fauna known as the ‘Samburu five’ and vast, open landscapes. DAY NINE: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Spend this full day at Samburu Game Reserve, Morning and afternoon game viewing searching for the ‘Samburu five’ which includes the long necked gerenuk, the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, the Beisa oryx and the Somali ostrich among other wildlife and birds. An optional complimentary cultural village to Samburu village is offered who are neighbors to the park and are famous for their remote culture, pastoral and nomadic way of life and you have an opportunity to purchase some traditional Samburu souvenirs, art and collectibles. DAY TEN : LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast and check out and depart by road to Lake Naivasha via Thomas Falls. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, enjoy the beauty of the lake shores as well as admiring the colonial architecture around or you may decide to book any of the Optional activities offered around such as: Boat ride to Crescent Island, Safari or Biking at Hells Gate National Park, Hiking at Mount Longonot up to the peak from 2150m asl to 2780m asl.

DAY ELEVEN: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Check out after breakfast and proceed by road to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve which is one of the great wonders of the world in terms of animal migrations, As per Abc news “Good Morning America’s show”. It’s also considered as a “must see” by almost all visitor going on safari. It is on the “to do” list for many because the park is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch followed by check in. An option afternoon at leisure, relaxing by the camp sun heated pool or depart for an afternoon game viewing as from 16:00hrs. DAY TWELVE: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
A full day in the magnificent Masai Mara Game Reserve, The reserve is regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Morning and afternoon game viewing in the park has been scheduled for you or you can decide to book an Optional balloon ride over the plans of the Masai Mara which takes you over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara reserve; fly over the great Mara River, swamps, forests, wildlife & the African Savannah. The quiet, relaxing ride allows you to view an amazing assortment of wildlife from a unique bird’s-eye view. Surprise bush champagne breakfast is served on landing. DAY THIRTEEN: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Enjoy your final full day exploring the Masai Mara Game Reserve, this time the choice is yours, if its during the annual migration period, Drive towards Mara River, wildebeest arrive at the Mara River in their tens of thousands, eventually they will choose a crossing point which may vary from day to day or even annually, fairly placid stretch of water without predator although occasionally they will choose suicidal places and drown in their hundreds while other will be attacked by crocodiles. Or just a relaxed day at the camp which is stylishly designed to provide the ideal safari experience where comfort, luxury and outstanding personal service combine naturally with the beautiful wilderness. DAY FOURTEEN: DEPART
Breakfast will be served at the camp, check out and depart by road back to Nairobi with game viewing en-route. Lunch will be served at a city restaurant in Nairobi.
